Rags lost 1-6 at home, scousers lost 7-2 to villa  , we lost at home 5-2 to Leicester who then lost 0-3 at home to west ham...

This season is going to be wild!

I reckon Arsenal will win it this year. Pep will leave at the end of the season and Arteta replaces him. I actually wouldn't terribly mind that.

You heard it here first.

Crazy results this weekend. I like that everton and villa are going to inject something exciting to this season.

Pep is not going anywhere.

Think the crazy results are the due to the absence of fans or the short pre-season?

Solid win against 'snal, I only saw the highlights, but missing KDB and Sergio just getting fitness we'll take it.

How do Ake and Ruben look?

Don’t like the guy but amused by what Neil Warnock said when asked on 5Live about the defending in the Prem this season. “I haven’t seen any yet”.

mental season so far, goals galore. warnock's a cunt, but he's right on that. we're playing... dunno, not exactly badly, but not getting results, not playing well. feels disjointed. like any time the oppo does make it through they're going to score. much like today really.

2 games in a row Jesus has scored Bergkampesque goals. He's 23. I doubted him, my error. Really inspired to see what happens from here. Top man.

So chuffed he’s coming good, and even so we could do with another striker.

I can’t remember the last time KDB wasn’t at least an 8 out of 10, or even if it’s ever happened

What an absurd first post to start the season.... Arsenal to win it... lol.

I still wouldn't mind Pep leaving. He has no plan B and our plan A is far too obvious at this point. Get 11 players behind the ball and shoot once on target. Works every time.

I was thinking about this this morning, even if this isn't Pep's finest spell at City, if he was to be replaced (which I am not advocating) you actually have to replace him with someone. Who? Who would you replace him with, and I came to the conclusion there is not a single other human on the planet who could do a better job.

I ask any of you, the name of someone you think would actually be better?

I reckon Klopp would do a better job at this point, but I wouldn't want him. It would be like having Mourinho... no thanks.

Realistically there aren't too many better managers than Pep, but that's not necessarily the point. We need a new approach to how we play. The players are great, the manager is great, and the tactics are great - but they are already too obvious to the other managers. There is probably a reason Pep never stayed longer than 5 years in one team - other managers know how to play against him.

New manager, new approach. I would have Julian Nagelsmann (Leipzieg) or Gasperini (Atalanta).

Problem is that if Pep leaves we might not be able to attract players as easily as before.

Gasperini reeks of Sarri. Nagelsmann if you wanted to take massive punt or that guy from borussia monchengladbach, but no thanks, I’m sticking with Pep.

I'd definitely want Pep till the end of the season but he has to change a few things if there is any point of him staying longer than that.

We just need to be more clinical and get the rub of the green. Before that flukey deflected goal against West Brom we hadn’t conceded in 6 (I think) games, and we should’ve comfortably still won (those two ridiculous saves at the end). It’s the toughest league in the world, no one’s running away with it, but we’re still playing the best football. We need a new striker rather than a new manager. I’d be happy for us to spend the next few season’s transfer budget on Mbappe and not do anything else.

Be ok once we sign young haaland and bring him home..

And get that rouge from Barca on a cheap deal...

One up against saints right now, we need a win here badly..

Come on the super blues..

Be safe my friends.. :TopHat1
