Understatement of the century there Bertram. Horrible to find out we’re so reliant on one player at the back, compounded by Kompany’s departure. I don’t know what young centre backs we’ve got waiting in the wings but Otamendi needs to be taken out of the firing line - the way he’s just diving in at the feet of the attacker whenever he’s one on one suggests to me even he’s lost faith in his ability to defend.

Absolutely mate..
He calls himself the general. But he needs a proper leader beside him, like Vinny or now laporte.
We have been sniffing out a guy from Turkey I think but that's way off.
If there are some kids ready then let them have it..

But Ferna.... Jesus he was decent considering.
Made a double tackle any defender would be proud of.

He is a true unsung hero, and considering his time with us. Deserves borderline legend status..
Not quite Vinny level. But he's up there with a swp or dunnie..
Warrior...

Yeah Ferna’s been fantastic but needs some pace alongside him, or at least somebody that doesn’t constantly leave him exposed.

Better today but missed too many chances.
Defence didn’t have that much to do, fortunately, and Ederson showed how good he is
Bernardo has stopped shining so much, probably because of this stupid snowflake business hanging over him.
Good job Hennessy played well for Palace or it would have been another 8-0

El Mago's goal was pitch-perfect technique.

You have to be a special player not to get through that shot an hour early and softy slice it straight up in the air.

Considerable domination, nice football plenty of shots, not enough going in.
Still trying to work out why we put high crosses into the box when all the defenders are 6 foot + and all our attackers are 5 foot 8 .

Great win yesterday..
Went on Wednesday and yesterday..
Spuds one up at the moment. I do not expect that to be the case at full time.
But you never know..

Another dominant win, we look great.

VAR had a mare this weekend. So did Xhaka.

Hard fought.
Difficult when teams now put 6 or 7 big men in their 6 yard box.
Did you know that Liverpool have won 10 more games than any other team in added on time.
More than Fergie time

Bin dipper time now..

I was reading on twitter about the bias towards them.
Two headlines.. One said something like. 'late walker goal spares city blushes'
And the dippers said 'late stunning comeback for Liverpool'..

And they say we're Delusional

what an absolute dog shit of a performance from everyone except Walker.

I hated watching that. (EDIT) the 2nd half. 1st was decent.

It’s been a worrying trend for a few years now in Europe where we dominate the first 45 minutes and should be out of sight by half time, then in the second half everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Literally anyone’s capable of knocking us out after the group stage, the wheels fall off too easily.

VAR can see a toenail offside but not 2 blatant handballs. Maybe VAR has moved from Shockley Park to Scotland Road.
Never mind it is only November

Only putting this here as its the only thread we have been using much..

Spuds have pulled the trigger on poch.
Bit of a shocker even though they are in a rough patch
Levy is a cunt, glad he's not our chairman.
They deserve moureen if the rumours are true.

A quick bet on Zidane getting the sack and poch in would be decent I'm sure..
