We won, beat Burnleh 5 - zip. 75% possession, again.

Anyone notice Jesus' celebration when our Kevin scored? I love seeing that particularly from strikers who can be labelled selfish. The sign of a true team player.

The passing game that led to Kev's goal was lovely, and the pass from Ederson was a thing of beauty lobbing a few players and pin-pointing Mahrez.

As Kimbo said elsewhere, Pep's city is a joy to watch. Best in the land and all the world.

Yep .spot on about Jesus.
Seems to have a little bit of pith and vinegar to his game again.

They are a proper unit in their togetherness..

Manchester City XI vs. Newport: Ederson, Zinchenko, Stones, Otamendi, Danilo, Fernandinho, David Silva (c), Foden, Mahrez, Sané, Gabriel Jesus

Subs: Muric, Laporte, Walker, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Sterling

That's a surprising starting 11. Not an academy player in sight. If this was a home game we would win 15-0. I reckon it'll end 0-2 and 3 injuries.

who is the commentator on BT Sports 2? He keeps on saying the city players name wrong and he sounds like his weeping while talking. Fucking annoying.

Better there than prior. They also got the worst of the 8 in Wolves, potential banana skin surely, playing some good football.

Did anyone see the utd keeper making some incredible saves early on?! Fantastic result. Wolves are a threat.

Terrific game at swansea, Bernardo was terrific and Aguero, well....

Ripping game. Finally getting the rub of the green with some contentious calls. Swings and round abouts

Everybody is allowed a bad game sometimes.
The team that scores the most goals wins.
Why, when Brighton have 2 6 foot 4 centre halves and we have no forwards taller than 5 foot 6, do we persist in knocking in big crosses?

Agreed. Not the best game but we got over the line.
Back again for spurs in a few days..

...and I'd prefer Watford than Wolves in the final. Good stuff.

I reckon we'll lose the league but win the cup, losing the semi of the CL.
