Don't know where to start. Pep got it wrong from the off, ok Sterling, the ocassion and fans may get to him but surely Bernardo could have started. Cut out the errors i said, defended like retards for the first goal, after Chamberlains goal it was like deja vu. With the night to sleep on it i'm more disappointed than furious as i was last night. they had a kid at RB, Lovren whose dubious and i actually rate Robertson. A midfied 3 of Milner, Ox and Henderson outdid us, fucking hell. i cannot see us keeping a clean sheet at home against these lot, just need to bloody start off like a shuttle
That kid at right back had sane sussed all night..for once Leroy was woeful.
El mago was not really on it either.
Kdb tried and tried to make something happen.
Jesus.was absent the most part..
Just think the occasion got to them..
Just like to regain some respect back next week..it's going to be hard to keep a clean sheet and 1 goal for them and we're fooked..
Champions of the league this weekend Vs the rags will heal us ..
Playing gun dog just shifted the shape too much to give any meaningful support to jesus, and meant we weren't stretching them in both flanks as we normally would if sterling had been on. Also worth noting that we're equally lopsided at fullback, having walker without a winger in front, and lacking the same kind of overlap options on the left side.
Also, we kinda gifted them the first, and gave them too much room for the others. Klopp is the only manager with a decent record against pep teams, but we shouldn't be sloppy and help him improve it.
