The only problem I have with it is that we won't get any transfer fee for him but at least the guy is going back home to play for his boyhood team and not fucking off to America/China/UAE for personal gain. We will have had his best years out of him (albeit with numerous injuries) and he has provided what is, to date, the best moment outside of my family in my life

appears there was a little kerfuffle at the club about this, as he gave the year as being 2018, when his current contract expires in 2019, and there are ongoing negotiations to extend it another year to 2020... but yeah, concur on it actually not being a bad thing that he intends to return to his boyhood club to end his playing career, and that he has no intention of playing for any other team in europe before he does that. kudos.

You couldn't make this shit up really, welll of course you could.

Light at LB and in terms of out and out strikers time for Jesus to step up.

Gundogan can come in, and Bernardo, a chance for Yaya to step it up.

Seemed to be doing alright as well with 2 up top.

Equalled Eric Brooks record today against Burnley.
I never saw Brooks play but remember my Dad talking about him.
My Dad never saw Aguero play.
