I'm surprised at how little I care if he goes now. He's the best in the world at what he does, but as soon as he acts like he doesn't want to be here, or starts holding the club to random, he can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

(I'd feel different if he was 25 and not 31)

His agent is only doing what agent's do, especially this one at the same time every year. If he stays great, if he goes , especially to PSG, silly money would have to be offered and we can buy some more Yayas.

I can sympathise with Yaya. Last year in work I got three birthday cakes. This year I only got one. I was pissed off at this total lack of respect.

Yaya has every right to feel aggrieved. I'll never forget the time I went to Tenerife and the king of Spain wasn't waiting on the runway to suck me off when I landed. On some diplomatic mission to Argentina at the time or some bollocks. Fucking slap in the face.

The Ivorian Football Federation has announced the death of Ibrahim Touré, the brother of Kolo and Yaya Touré. In a statement on its official website, the IFF said that 28-year-old Ibrahim, himself a player with the Lebanon-based Al Safa, passed away hours after the Ivory Coast’s 2-1 World Cup loss to Colombia on Thursday.

No reason was given for the death, other than that it occurred in Manchester, where Yaya Touré plays his club football with City.

The statement said: “A tough day for the Touré brothers. Just hours after the match Colombia v Côte d’Ivoire (2-1), Kolo and Yaya have learned of the death of their younger brother Touré Oyala Ibrahim. The entire Ivorian delegation to Brazil supports them in this painful circumstance.

“The president of the Ivorian Football Federation [FIF] and the Executive Committee are to inform the family of Ivorian football, the death of Ibrahim Touré occurred on Thursday June 19 in Manchester.

“In these painful circumstances, the players of the national team of Côte d’Ivoire as well as the entire Ivorian delegation present in Brazil at the 2014 World Cup are to demonstrate their compassion [to the] Touré brothers, members of the Elephants and the great Touré family.”

Yaya Touré played against Colombia while Kolo Touré was an unused substitute.

His brother was dying of cancer.

No wonder he wanted a bigger birthday cake.

He's now blaming City for not allowing spend more time with his brother before he died!!!???!! What a load of bollix, there's no way did City make him attend the WC and there's no way do I accept that they would have insisted he attend the after season trip to the Middle east if he was that concerned about his brother...even if they did he could have been man enough to say "no" and stayed in Manchester - what cheap, lousy shot..
hateful bastard, he can fuck right off now!! Sick of him now

Maybe his strop in the Middle East was more to do with being made to go when he bro was on his last legs rather than the birthday cake. Still doesn't explain why he went to the WC tho.

Yaya Touré has claimed Manchester City denied him the chance to spend time with his brother Ibrahim, who died of cancer last week.

Touré took part in the Premier League champions’ end-of-season tour to Dubai before flying to the World Cup with Ivory Coast while his family tended to Ibrahim in Manchester.

In an interview with France Football, Touré said: “I confess that I am still very sad. I’m suffering because I feel I have done nothing useful for him the last few weeks.

“At the end of the season, I wanted to stay for four or five days with my brother before I flew to prepare for the World Cup with Ivory Coast, except that City did not want to give me a few days.

“I went to celebrate the title championship in Abu Dhabi while my brother was in his sickbed. By fortune, Kolo was at his bedside. After that I blame myself for not insisting and for not leading them to respect me.

“However, club officials knew that I had been suffering for a few months seeing the health of my brother decline. This is the reason I had several injuries at the end of the season, because my head had taken control of my body. These last four months have probably been the hardest in my life.”

Relations between City and Touré have been strained of late and the Ivorian midfielder’s assertion will fuel speculation the 31-year-old’s future lies elsewhere.

Perhaps City felt sorry for his brother?

Your mates are retards, as if we'd sell him to either of those clubs. PSG maybe.

Well, that's a better way of describing your work than I've ever managed with mine.
