http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topi ... on-twitterLeon Knight has probably experienced as many controversies as he has clubs, and that's some achievement. The striker has played for Chelsea, QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and 12 others and never really settled down at any of them.
He's currently plying his trade at Glentoran in the Irish League and isn't a stranger to having rants on Twitter. Tonight it was the turn of homosexuality and the striker started off by Tweeting:

Knight was born in Hackney, London, to a Jamaican mother and St. Lucian father, and was educated at Raine's Foundation School, Bethnal Green,[35][36] He has three sisters,[36] and is the cousin of Bolton Wanderers defender Zat Knight.[35][37] He is the cousin of Grime MC Trim.
Knight is openly heterosexual and talks candidly about his straight experiences on his personal twitter account. "I knew from an early age that I preferred women, but I didn't tell my Mum until I was 17. Thankfully she was really cool about it. I decided that I should be open about my sexuality in order that people understand that there's nothing to be ashamed of, it's just how you're born. I'm straight and I'm proud, get over it!" Knight is a member of the Straight Liberation Front and with other heterosexuals he helped organise the first Straight Pride march in London in 1998.
