Jedward were ordered to "cop on" by their manager Louis Walsh after they were forced to cancel a concert in Longford last night.
The pop duo had been due to perform in the Longford Arms Hotel but the date was pulled after twin John Grimes sprained his ankle.
It was during a concert the previous afternoon, in front of 700 fans at Wexford Opera House, that the singer sustained the injury after landing hard on his ankle.
He was immediately seen by physiotherapist Sean Collier and taken to Wexford General Hospital for X-rays.
However, manager Walsh said the injury was as a direct result of the brothers' mad stage antics.
"The lads need to cop on. All this jumping around is starting to look stupid. They're representing Ireland out at Eurovision in a couple of weeks, which is why John and Edward need to start being a bit more careful," Walsh told the Irish Independent.
Although the remaining dates on Jedward's Irish tour, which includes two sold out dates in Dublin's Olympia on Saturday and Sunday, are said to be "unaffected".
Jedward will represent Ireland in the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf, Germany on May 12.
Brother Edward tore his cruciate ligament last year.
