If you extend that to "fuck all talent, fuck all songs and a dull, plodding indie bassline" you've got 5L(L) on a stick!

i thought you were descibing your own musical endeavours then for a moment.

The band I was in in the early 90s was shoegaze death metal. Image

This was our debut single, that's me doing the guitar solo:

We notice here that the poster has lifted his retort wholesale from the Pee Wee Herman's 1985 text, A 1000 Similar Rejoinders for any Occasion, OUP, IBSN 444567110034

I've tried Hybernoid. It stopped the bleeding and reduced the swelling. Still very itchy though.

Bastard, is performing a shoegaze death metal guitar solo more complicated and difficult to master than playing a one note plodding indie bassline, for example, on 5L(L)'s Dead Again?

Too metal for bassy's tastes. Even if it's indie metal. In Bassy's words grunge bands were all "jumping on the grunge bandwagon".

How were Dillinger Escape Plan?

Immense mate, played downstairs at the uni where the sound is spot on.
Got rid of my ear cold anyway.

I've heard both Bastard's band and yours and it is obvious which one is best. I once played the 5L(L) youtube clip to someone and they were appalled. They asked: "Why would anyone put shite like that up?"

They copy and pasted a review from teletext onto their my space page in which they were awarded 6 out of 10. Says it all really.

This is true. That is why I've never kidded myself that I could play in a band and entertain lots of other people.

As Dirty Harry said in Magnum Force, " A man's got to know his limitations".

Great mag! What score did you get? Was it more than 6/10?
