Lucas Neill is vastly over-rated, and Bellamy is a bellend.

I get the point of buying squad players, I don't get the point of buying players worse than the squad players we already have, and ones with poor attitudes too. Aren't Neill and Bellamy the kind of players we would have been linked with 2 years ago? Perhaps we should make a cheeky bid for Freddie Eastwood too.

Think most people on here had misgivings. I fully expect things to go tits up at some stage but that has nothing to do with Frank. Thats all to do with City being City. I'm just hoping we win something before disaster strikes.

Definite boac there :D

I'd say we were pretty popular to unbiasd fans - for entertainment value if nothing else

We're incredibly popular. Everyone in the world loves us apart from MrsWeaver.

I agree. The last time we were in a cup final? The day I was born.

I'd bet a fiver this story is just paper bollocks.

Quote:
City chief Hughes could make a move for the duo.

So what? He could make a move for any player in the world.

Do we know where this story has come from? In fact I don't even want to know. It's bollocks anyway. How many players are left that once played for Hughes that we haven't been linked with yet? Can't be many.

Robbie Savage? Oh shit, I've done it now.

Petrov made Neill look a right tw@ from memory. As for Bellend im not sure, his attitude stinks like a pitbull with the trots though.

I have no interest in seeing either of them in a city shirt

Tossers the both of them.. I know it's football but i'd be bitterly disappointed if we signed either to be honest.. Bellend Bellamy more so.

Bellamy has no loyalty to anybody. Just ask Norwich and the Toon, absolute cock, let's hope Curbs loves him too much to let him go.

Interesting that people are willing to turn our back on a £4m striker with a very respectable success rate in the EPL, because most people hate him. I don't think as a person I'd like him to have a beer with the guy but as an off the bench striker he is bloody good option.

He will knock goals in for whoever he plays for.

Too similar to Barton in attitude I think. Reputation for not getting on with his team-mates. We can do without it.
