A man got kicked in the groin.

A classic theme that has echoed through the ages.

Emre called Didier Zokora a 'dirty nigger' earlier in the season, was found guilty by the Turkish FA and was banned for 2 games.

The next time the two teams played Zokora didn't think that was enough punishment, resulting in this

Only got a yellow for it as well.

This must take the red card.

I don't know, just looks a bit clumsy to me..a warning would've been sufficient - he was obviously going for the ball!!

I agree, he was done for skill and just got there a bit late. Not everything is a card you know, sometimes it's just a foul. If Blatter and Platini had their way, tackling would be outlawed.

Decision day for Terry

From my reading of the case in court it seems that both sides have been trying to muddy the waters. All the witnesses appear to have an element of unreliability and the excuse that it was someone in the crowd is somewhat laughable especially as Terry appears to have admitted to using those words.

Is our resident forum legal adviser on his hols?

Speculating on the outcome going against Terry it will be interesting to see Chelsea's attitude to the verdict. If they do nothing they will be perceived to be supporting racism and to avoid this they must sack him.
The FA will presumably continue their long postponed inquiry and if terry is found Guilty they must impose a similar punishment to that of Suarez earlier.

Speculating on the verdict going in favour of Terry, where does that leave everybody, allowing that he has admitted using the words?

Am i right in thinking that if found guilty then the maximum fine £2,500 ???

Nothing to Terry that, probably has that stashed under Wayne Bridges Missus matress.

The Kick Racism Out of Football arguement should be replaced with the Kick John Terry Out of Football arguement.

Hi.

Well that outcome was always likely as 'reasonable doubt' is fairly easy to show. Of course now John Terry supporters are going to argue that the court agreed with Terry's version of events (not necessarily true) and that he shouldn't be punished by the FA. He really should be (following the Suarez precedent) but I have my doubts.

Some nobhead Chelsea fan on the BBC website saying "what goes on on the football pitch, should stay on the football pitch". Idiot.
