I'd have both tbh, but not at the figures bing touted. £28m for the pair is fucking madness.

if Liverpool do start to go backwards, please can we have Torres? I heart Torres.

I think a Liverpool with Barry and Keane would be a very strong side.

Be interesting to see if Wenger chases Barry now. Be very funny if Villa let him go there for £15mill.

Could happen. I get the impression that O'Neill is as pissed at Liverpool as he is at Barry. Accepting £4m for Stoke for Carson wouldn't have helped.

Haven't been up with all this Barry talk of late. How much does O'neil want for him??? and How much did Utd pay for Carrick???? he wasn't a regular last season.

Villa want £20mill for him I think.

Carrick was £18mill.

I prefer Barry.

Me too. Always rated Keane and would love us to sign him. Why one of the "big 4" has never gone in for him I'll never know.

Keane has systematically been dicked about by every manager he's worked under at the Spuds. Fuck knows why but he never gets a good run in the starting 11, but when he does he delivers. Maybe that's why he's been sort of under the radar for so long.

I heart him. Always said he was made for City, just something about him seemed like he should be a City player.

Benny doesn't like him

I know what u mean. It's easy to heart Torres. City should put a £30m bid in for him, to see if Liverpool crack.

When Keane is on form he is very good. He has been a bit hit and miss recently for ROI but then again, we've had a shite team. Always loved it when he scored for us and we could sing "there's only one Keano!".

That's it, he does. And for us, if we built the team around him, I'm sure he'd regular be getting 20+ goals a season. I think Hughes could and would know how to get the best out of him.

If we signed Robbie Keane we wouldn't stick him on the bench every other game. He got very pissed off last season when he was hooked off when he was playing well.

He's very hit and miss, and he's a greedy player. I've never been a fan.

Gareth Barry is staying at Villa. He's decided to stay. I'd love to see him at city, but not at the price being quoted.

i bet if we were discreet and polite about making an enquiry, they would accept a bid of about £7m just to piss off liverpool.

Same with Berbatov at spurs. They said they'd sell to anyone but united. I read that somewhere.

Or did you write that too?
