....should we be in for him? Does he fit in a Mancini City? I think with Cole, Bellamy and Tevez in the team that is starting to look one of the hardest working mid-fields in the league/globe.

I wonder...

Would be good cover for the left wing, however if Bellers leaves, probably start him there?

Not just left wing, he could do right wing or behind the striker/s if necessary. And he's English which as we know is important now. And he's FREE.

He will be snapped up very quickly. He is prone to injury but there is no crystal ball with that shit. More I think about it the more I am keen.

The reason we are likely to bag him, is because he was requestion 100k a week.

We would offer him that, without thinking twice.

All depends on Mancini I think. Cole is a similar to a Stevie Ireland type player though. And we have a Stevie Ireland type player.

He is a poncey southerner and he will go to Arsenal or Tottenham.

Not sure about poncey southerner Bert ;)

However think you could be right on where he goes.

I'm sceptical, and SEC had a sulk at me for saying this not long ago. Image Is there room in Mancini's system for Cole and Tevez? I don't think there is.

I'd love him in the team, no doubt.

He's a top player but has spent too much time on the treatment table in recent season.

He once got his ribs kicked in and was thrown from a bedroom window when he was caught knocking his nail into Keeley.

Certainly a good player but I assume (although I am not sure why) that he has a London bias. A hard worker and pretty versatile but too attacking for Bobby? Certainly a dilema for him.

You're right.

Don't think he'll leave London.

He'd be a great free signing - i'd be very happy if we signed him.

He'd be a great bought signing too. Outstanding player recognised by José cos otherwise, his career at a top end club was over under Ranieri.

We should be doing whatever it takes to try and bring him to the club, if we are serious about trying to challenge for the premier league Joe Cole is the sort of player you want at your football club

I shouldnt imagine that would be too much. He is without a club, free and good. Speak to his agent FFS Garra.

Its time like this when we really need to flex our finacial muscle. City won't be cole's first choice, we should blow the competition out of the water by offering something in the region of 150 grand a week imo. Last season city on soo many occasions were crying out for some like him.
