Is there any segregation between home and away fans at Fulham ?

It seems the away fans are based behind the right-hand goal when watching on TV, but it doesn't matter who scores in that goal, whether it be Fulham or the away team, people jump up all over the place, it just doesn't seem to be a fixed section of fans.

Can anyone who went yesterday or has been in the past clear it up ?

There's supposed to be segregation but there were loads of Fulham fans in the away end yesterday. The away stand is behind the goal we were attacking in the 2nd half. At the end of the game Tevez threw his shirt into the crowd and it was caught be a Fulham fan, who proceeded to get punched in the back of the head till he let go of it...

wouldn't have thought there would be much need for it tbh

My understanding is that the away section shares the stand with the family section, 'family' meaning a mix of home and away fans and these are the last tickets to sell so if away fans sell out their allotment the away fans can get more tickets if Fulham so desire.

It is the only ground in UK I know that does this, everywhere else has full segregation.

that's a bizarre setup, its a wonder the police allow it, but then again, I guess Fulham don't have any real rivals and their fans do come across as they are only there because the tennis season hasn't started yet.

i think that's really good that they can actually do that. shame there are fuckwits at so many other clubs that make such an eminently civilised arrangement impossible in other grounds.

Fulham fans aren't very radical, never ever seen trouble there, although I have some friends who are diehard Fulham fans and go to nearly all H and A matches. It's a bizarre set up and I think more due to the home supporters non-aggressive nature than anything else. It does work for whatever reason.



Yes and no. I wouldnt want football to be like rugby where you can stand next to rival fans and get along.

I remember going to watch Altrincham in a conference game years ago and at half-time the fans changed ends.

Fulham fans are alright, never any trouble before during or after. All the arseholes from that neck of the woods support Chelsea.

Wrong. Chelsea fans come from Surrey. The ONLY thing posh about Chavs FC is the postcode of their ground. Running joke between me and my mates is (in news announcer voice) 'Surrey was in crisis today as main water pipes burst in Sutton and due to a Chelsea home game there was not a single plumber within 22 miles.'

I would. Some of the best times I had as a football fan were mixing with opposing fans. Actually some other best times I had were singing songs and jeering opposing fans. Yes just leave it be. Mix in the boozer pre match then kill each other inside.

apart from when we played macclesfield, then things got a bit 'interesting'

all the local city and united fans would go to an alty/macc game, just for the chance of a fight with the yokels

It6 was quite common at lower league grounds in the 50s and 60s to change ends.
At york you had to pay sixpence(old money-now 2.5 ) to do so

Fulham also have a section in the ground for neutral fans

It's an all round decent likeable club tbh

as long as they finish below us, obligingly lose to us, and beat those who are threatening our position.
