Hmm I suppose it does kind of bother me because I dont want to send out a message to the opponents that I'm soft and that hes going to be in for an easy game etc. I was at a club once who totally banned people wearing gloves.

Its stupid though because Spain are the European champions and possibly the best international team in the world right now and they all wear gloves.

Tbf, you turn up in gloves, they think you're soft...then you surprise them with how much of manly man you are.

Hard tackles, boot to the face, that kind of thing.

Get them into a false sense of security kind of thing. Or wear knuckle dusters under your gloves.

They'll learn.

Gloves are the thin end of the wedge, I saw a game on some frosty tundra the other day where a couple of people were playing in leggings... Mark my words, ten years time most footballers will be wearing all in one lycra body socks with holes cut for the eyes.
