Maybe they just know that it's true, but can't tell anyone who their source is, not even a hint of where they have got their info from not even to like minded people with a vested interest in this knowledge, perhaps if you chellenge them on it they would say something like "I know it's true, I don't want it to be true, but it is" and perhaps if you chellenge them some more they will say something like "I'm not saying any more but Danny can back me up".
