Bunch of Tossers.

Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has lost his appeal for wrongful dismissal over the red card he was shown in Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Liverpool.

Cahill, 28, was sent off for a challenge on Reds midfielder Xabi Alonso after 80 minutes.

The Australia international will immediately start a three-match ban.

He is eligible for Thursday's Uefa Cup tie against Standard Liege but misses his side's games against Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester United.

After the game, Everton manager David Moyes said he did not think the tackle deserved a red card, and he thought referee Mike Riley may have increased the punishment as Cahill walked away from him when he blew the whistle.

But that would have meant two yellow cards, not a straight red

Yer reckon the FA looked at his future fixtures seen Arsenal and Utd in there and thought he's one of evertons best players, best to say the red stands, don't wanna upset the big 4 to much. I hate Them all!!!

And me.

Although I do agree with Moyes when he says he thought referee Mike Riley may have increased the punishment as Cahill walked away from him. I thought that at the time. If he hadn't done that I'm sure it'd have only been a yellow.

I heart Cahill, probs to do with his last minute goals that get get us through in tight scraps. Or even that goal last year against Chelsea in the 89th minute. Whatever it is i cant help but turn a blind eye to his dickheadedness (just made up a word there). Didn't think the tackle was worthy of a red, he lowered his feet and didn't really show studs, thought it was harsh.

he is a decent player, and won us a couple of world cup games but he is a dickhead. So i will cheer him on when he plays for the soccerwhos but not in the PL
