Seems like every cloud has a silver lining, the council has decided not to screen the champions league final on big screens next week cos of last nights trouble.

That's not likely to affect anyone though. Now, if Hertfordshire County Council were banning big screens there'd be a fucking riot.

Some of the rags I work with were considering going to Manchester to watch the final and "soak in the atmosphere". One asked if there would be any big screens in the city centre. I said there was one near the Arndale. He said "whats an arndale?". It soon became clear not one of the fuckers had ever been near the city.

Why should Manchester screen the game? The club isn't even in Manchester.
Come on you tight wads at Trafford Council, get your hands in your pockets for a change.

I don't think this is fair. As a football fan I want to watch this match and watch it somewhere with an atmosphere. Town would of been ideal to do this. Unfortunately, on this case, Rangers fans have ruined it for Manchester as a City, but never mind, lets hope this doesn't detract from the spectacle of United coming undone in Europe at the sweetest stage ever
