Bejani has had one decent season in his career and was clearly a panic buy. We got Benjani Pompey got Defoe. As well as being 3 or 4 years younger Defoe is clealry a much better player who has scored hatfuls of goals in the PL. Personally I think the signing of Benjani and Caeicedo cost Sven his job.

Mpenza actually kept us up when he signed on a free and didnt cost us anything so I will give you that one.

I have already said I rate Boj but with the injury he has had it will be an uphill battle. Regarding Jo we just go round in circles, we seem to be skint and he was clearly not Hughes signing either. And why have we let him go to the olympics, I notice Barca and AC Milan arent letting Kaka and Goofy go.

I have already said my piece If he plays a blinder and gets a load of goals I will be happy to admit I was wrong. I am amazed that people seem so happy with our business in the transfer market as regards forwards over the last few years. I think its a disgrace to be perfectly honest.

Well if we only paid £4 million for Benjani it makes me feel a bit better. If he looks shit this season at least we have the option to sell him or (if there is not a cluase) or not play him that much.

Jo could end up being a great player. But if you think Liverpool only paid £20 million for Torres it really does put it in perspective.

Its more the risk on top of the risks and failures we have already had in this area in recent years that worries me. I think it shows we have not had a proper coherent transfer policy at City for a number of years to be honest...

You can't stop players under 23 going to the olympics. Only the over age ones.

Well Jo better come off as there doesnt seem to be much if any more money in the kitty. Its a fair point about players of calibre of Torres not being willing to come to us. Newcastle offered £5 million more for Modric before he went to spurs and almost double the wages and he still wouldnt even speak to them.

Haha, you caught me out, but 'moreso' isn't something that is said nearly as much as 'would/could/should of', and 'moreso' is just forgetting to put a space in whereas 'would/could/should of' is grammatically terrible and means absolutely nothing.
