Arsenal only managed 0-0 against Sunderland, so we'll finish in second regardless of Sunday's results.

The media are trying to make out our season was a disaster, but 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd for the last four seasons, I'll take it.

It has felt like a let-down though right? That slump between Feb and April was fucking dire. Winning the title then finishing a distant second the year after is a cunt.

I suspect Chelsea will be hard to shift from the top next year.

If they get Bale it will be :(

I agree, very disappointing, but I think we will do a lot better next season. We had key players not performing as well as they should. Even if we retain them, I don't think that will happen next season.

I don't rate Chelsea at all, they've picked up a knack of winning when they're playing shit but they're not exactly Barcelona. A few decent additions in the right places and we'll give them a run for their money next season.

Yeh I'd go with that SEC. They hardly played stellar football did they? They'd showed a masterclass in defensive football. Given their squad, with either Pellers or Mancini at the helm that team would have played some beautiful attacking footy.

For City it was a somewhat disappointing season but as a few have said, being offered 1,2,1,2 finish 10 years ago we'd think you were on the pipe.

We need some good signings, and a small clear out. Fizzy water needs to spend some money and we'll be in fine shape for next season.

i think we suffered for being the reigning champions, both by teams upping their work rate against us and complacency on our part. the players we bought this season will improve, plus any new blood/chopping dead wood should see us putting up a decent fight.

Nice easy one today compared with the last few seasons - few beers, sit back and enjoy it.

Number one team in Manchester yet again. :approve:

PS.
Hope Newcastle go down. Cunts.

Our form's been great since we lost to the rags. To think there was talk about this being a decider for the last CL spot not so long ago.

Not many fancy us in the top 2 next year!

I'm not overly optimistic right now either.

BBC cunts. A few on the Gruniad have us winning it

What I can't fathom is how most pundits seem to think Arsenal signing a goalkeeper makes them contenders all of a sudden

Mr Crystal Wilshere out for 6-8 weeks fractured ankle. Good job we didn't try to get him.
