Should have guessed this
Wasn't that long ago when the Fat One was spouting on that City wasn't big enough for him to leave Bolton for....
Can't help feeling that the owners and the Fat Lad deserve one another (pity the fans) though he'll probably do a decent enough job if given the funds..

He'll get them out of the Championship.

Hopefully down to League 1.

Sensible move. He does well with no money and crap players.

This is Fat Sam's true ambition:

Quote:
Allardyce reveals ambitions
September 18, 2010
By ESPNsoccernet staff

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce believes his management style would be perfectly suited to the likes of Inter, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Sam Allardyce feels he would be a success at a top club
Allardyce has become known for his sides' physical approach to the game but, although many view his methods as old fashioned, he feels he could get the best out of the top clubs in Europe.

"I'm not suited to Bolton or Blackburn," he said. "I would be more suited to Inter Milan or Real Madrid. It wouldn't be a problem for me to go and manage those clubs because I would win the double or the league every time.

"Give me Manchester United or Chelsea and I would do the same. It wouldn't be a problem.

"It's not where I'm suited to - it's just where I've been for most of the time. It's not a problem to take me into the higher reaches of the Champions League or Premier League and would make my job a lot easier in winning it."

Fulham boss Mark Hughes said during his press conference ahead of the weekend's meeting between the sides that Allardyce should be a strong contender to replace Fabio Capello as England manager when he leaves the position, and the Rovers boss showed the respect between the two is mutual.

"His Manchester City reign obviously was not long enough - a little bit like me at Newcastle - but that is the way it is sometimes," he said. "There is a perception that other people can do better than you, but often the reality is not the case."

Not sure if you're joking but doesn't fat sam's son act as an agent for the clubs he manages and is as bent as a nine bob note?

I don't hate Samuel. He's normally quite objective about City, he is a Premier League quality manager as much as you all detest him. Him taking on Wham doesn't confront me at all.

His son is dodgy as fuck.
