The only overt condemnation of his behaviour appears to have more to do with the damage to his earning capacity than the damage he did to his ex-girlfriend Davinia Murphy. When Murphy appeared in a night-club, according to a witness "He (Giggs) just walked up and punched her in the stomach. Then he punched her in the face and dragged her back by the hair". Agent Eric Hall is supposed to have commented, "Hopefully this was a one-off and sponsors will probably turn a blind eye this time. But if he carries on, these are the sort of headlines that could endanger sponsorships."

Apparently he is readying a 15m bid for Lahm, we should gazump him for the crack.

If Lahm's available for £15m we should be breaking arms to put a bid in, especially when that Kolarov's being valued at £20m or whatever atm.

Giggs speaks some sense and he may have hit upon the Achilles Heel that I have been pointing out for a few weeks when he talks about gelling as a team.
I worry that Mancini's man management skills will be lacking and will cause dissent amongst the squad.

He will let people think that, even though it's actually gone into servicing the debt.

hopefully it is just a worry and not something that shall come to pass.
if the rumours of yaya's pay are true i can see problems on that front though. nowt like a huge disparity in pay to engender divisions in the dressing room.

oh, and the money isn't just servicing the debt, it is also going directly into the glazer's pockets or on their expenses.

gotta laugh.

footballers must be used to the idea that some may get paidmore than other though, surely?

The only issue i can see is if we had say, a forward with a history of aggro getting paid less than someone who has just joined the club.....ah

A few of their shopping malls in the USA have gone tits up.

I wonder if the have considered launching Manchester United Mega Gift Shops to pull the punters back in?

Paddy power have us 1/5 i think 3rd favourites behind munchens and the chavs..

The fat scouse and the cund On talkshite this afternoon..Well quinny was saying that chavs are a ageing side , and we know the rags are.
And he likes a little flutter does quinny, and he was pretty much saying you'd better believe city are a BIG threat. and they ain't done yet spending...

they can bleet on about us all they want...Just another team, if we finished above the rags id knock on Boyo giggs door and show him that quote..

4th is without a doubt a must this season..anything else with the squad we have will be a massive failure..
and a jaunt to that london would not go a miss...
