Portsmouth for the chop, come next May.

Gone: Davis, Johnson, Crouch, Campbell etc, etc. Distin to follow.

They've signed nobody, but are trying to sign some unknown from Cardiff, and now, they expect to sign Mark Viduka!?!!??

Get your money out now, Portsmouth for down....watch this space.

Good call Bassy. It would make me laugh out loud. I hope Spurs follow them down.

I had a real sinking feeling when i saw the title of this thread. Thought yer were gonna jinx our season by saying we'd win everything. But yep Pompey are going down deeper and down.

He's just old. Don't hate on him for that.

I hate portsmouth. May they go down.

Oh dear. Imagine him and Kanu up front - wouldn't terrify too many defences with their pace.

In

Mokoena

Out

Crouch
Davis
Johnson
Lauren
Little
Pamarot
Thomas
Traore

I could have sworn Campbell had gone, and definite rumours of Distin going to Villa.

Suppose Djimi Traore wouldn't be a great loss, in fact some would say him not playing improves any defence.

:approve:

He has a pretty decent scoring record for a "fat bloke that can't run" (that's always been a criticism of the V-Bomber)

See Burnley had to score two late goals to get a draw at Accrington Stanley the other day. They're as good as down n'all

I see we got beaten by Kaizer Chiefs. Pre-season isn't about results. I think Burnley could do well

I think they'll draw their first match, lose their 2nd, then win 2 in a row and everyone will be like "Burnley for a european place" then they'll finish 15 to 17 and everyone will hate them for some reason.

Except me. Hearts Martin Patterson.

So you think they'll beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge?

So I assume you mean win two and draw one of the first four. So which of Man Utd and Everton do you suppose they'll beat (assuming they beat Stoke first game).

Man u. Then everyone will say, a-ha! look how the mighty have fallen, choosen to ignore the last 2 years and then United will claw their way back to the top.
Before eventually being destroyed by city
