All this talk about Shearer "creating a buzz" and "lifting the dressing room" is fucking rubbish.

If Orville the Duck was made manager it would "create a buzz" and Charlotte Church would give the players "a lift". You wouldn't make them managers of a football team (though maybe Mike Ashley would).
