I see the FA propose to do nothing about the incident yesterday when Boswinga of Chelsea ran 10 yards and kicked benayoun in the back -- whilst Benayou was standing up. Even Scolari said it was a red card.
On a related point , much as I don't like the fatboy, Lampost did not deserve to be sent off in the same game.

Bosingwa did apologize though... I guess that's enough for the FA.

Didn't see the match or MOTD, didn't really read any match reports, so when i tuned in to SSN this morning before work i was quite shocked to see that challenge. Absolutely fucking awful.

So when Delap apologises for what would have caused him to be accused of assault outside the ground that will be ok .

When Skrtel kicked Jo in the back nothing was done about it, just shit refereeing.

Meh. Wasn't likely to cause injury so should he have been red carded?

Has SWP got away with lashing out at Delap? I know it was extreme provocation but if Bosingwa gets done, letter of the law SWP should too. I'm willing to let them both go TBH...

Yeah, both should get suspensions. They have to clamp down, or it will all get out of hand.

You should call the local police and report it as an assault. It'd need investigating, and then questions would be asked as to why the police were looking into it but the FA weren't...

:D

the fucking linesman stands RIGHT besides. How can that not be a red card and a banning for at least 5 games or even more? Thats just battery, innit?

Till i seen it i quite rated bosingwa. That of course makes him a wanker of the highest order.

Lumpo'lard had two feet off the ground. He had to go.

If both feet were off the ground and the ref deems he wasn't in control then he has the right to send him off. That said, I didn't see a lot of difference between that tackle and the one Gerrard did a few moments earlier.

Gerrard's was a carbon copy (well, vice versa as his happened first). At least Lampard got the ball. Love Gerrard's anger after he did that lunge, got nowhere near the fuckig ball. Twat. Pisses me off how much he referees a game. Fuck off Stevie G you twat

So did Alonso, and one of his stamped on Lamplards shin. Shocking decision.
