It is worrying that people with such shite ideas such as this hold positions like his as a member on the FA's board.

On a side issue, how can people with interests in a certain club also hold a position on the FA and PL board?

It's controversial but i think it will happen in the future. It's nearly happening already with virtually the same championship clubs getting promoted then going back down then coming back up within a year or two.

Leagues 2 & 3 will become semi-proffesional i fear as the gates will be shut to them trying to get into the premier top flight.

I'm not in favour of it but i think it will happen.

We have already got to the situation where the three clubs that go down from the Premier League are usually the three that come up, although a couple of others might sneak in.

Stoke?
Hull?

Total bollocks.

I think this is one of those things where you propose load of shite and then one of the things gets taken on board as the rest make it look plausible. In my view, I think the wage cap is the one thing he has said that makes sense.

Well, it did until we became ludicrously rich....MWUH HA HA HA!!

It would have to be global. Otherwise players would just go with the money. Also if it is world wide then players would leave the premier league. If you are going to get the same money why play in a pissing down game in the North East when you could be in sunnier climates

Not all places could afford the wage cap though - if it was set at £80k, a lot of leagues would struggle to get there so the EPL (one for Benny there) would still win.

We have a global governing body, so why couldn't they enforce some sort of cap that was in ratio to a national league's turnover. This way, if your respective league improves etc the wage cap would reflect that.
