:D

Tottenham are in an even bigger hole than Derby were this time last season. The Rams had four of their eventual total of 11 points after six games, while Spurs have so far mustered just two. (The Sun)

seeing as Hull are doing well, and WBA have nicked a few points, it's a case of who is going down with Spurs & Newcastle. Or is it a little early to make such predictions?

I think it is a little early yes but alarm bells must be ringing at both clubs. I think Spuds have got the players to get themselves out of it but can't see much at Newcastle to suggest that they can.

I would love it, really love it.....if Newcastle got relegated.
Spuds would be a nice addition.

Yeah, thats two out of three for the fantasy relegation.

Apart from the obvious, who would make up the third spot? I'd have to go for Portsmouth.:D

West Ham or Portsmouth.
I'd be happy with 3 out of those 4 getting relegated.

I wonder how many of the self proclaimed most passionate fans in the world will turn up at St James when they are back where they belong in the 2nd tier.

Bunch of fucking idiots.

they are a set of wankers really, they had Bobby Robson finishing 5th, but that wasn't good enough for them, Roeder finished 7th, but he didn't fit the bill did he, didn't look the part or sommat. Souness - disaster, and just downhill since. They deserve to be where they are.

Has anyone been on any newcastle forums? I just wondered how they're reacting to the thought of being taken over by the Nigerians.

Whatever we have done or could do, accepting a takeover bid from a Nigerian Businessman makes Newcastle officially the biggest joke in football. We've never come close to this and we've done some dumb things.

No. They deserve to be lower.

It Freddie Shepherd showed up at St James next match, he'd be carried shoulder high by the Geordie masses as a "returning Messiah".

Is it an official takeover or has he just emailed the club asking for their bank account details as he has large sums of money he needs somewhere to deposit?
