I used to work at Burnley's ground, so I've always had them as a second team.

Must say I thoroughly enjoyed the battering we gave them at Maine Rd last time round though. :D

Be nice if North End went up. They won the first ever Football League Championship in 1888-89. Appropriate.

I want Blackpool because they're around the corner from Fleetwood. Fat chance though :(

They've come close on a number of occasions. Got a lot of mates in Preston. Proper club. Proper supporters. Not like Wigan where they'd rather watch Rugby League.

exactly personally preston wud fill 24,000 a week if in premier league in north west u have got blackburn rovers, wigan, maybe bolton who do not deserve to be up here with 13,000 a week and you feel a bit sorry for preston not having any parachute payments, investors never borrowed a penny and derek shaw done a lot with a shoe string there since he took over, new stadium (basically) took them to 2 play off finals lost to west spam and bolton and 1 semi final (lost to shadrak dingle leeds) jus hope they can come up this year :) i will be rooting for the whites

Indeed, good club with a lot of history. Unfortunately my brother-in-law comes from Wolverhampton and he's a knob, so it puts me off.
