gone, resigned, fucked off - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/7596106.stm
not a suprise really. for all that city dominated the headlines with our own particular brand of finanacial chaos/over-endowment, newcastle and west ham have displayed the worrying traits of clubs in the shit. newcastle losing milner, seemingly putting any contract negotiations on hold and looking like they've forced KK out the door; west ham flogging players that are obviously first team stalwarts like ferdinand and mcartney and ceasing the kind of spending that could get them anywhere.

You should definitely get your cash. It was a good bet, I'm sure we had this chat on here somewhere a while ago.

Indeed it does.

I'm sure one of my mates put a bet on us to win the premier league without the "top 4". He got pretty good odds too if memory serves, must be in with a shot now.

In fact, I'm going to check that bet.

Edit: We're now 5/2 without the big 4, 66-1 outright, and my favourite which I'm going for, 18-1 without rags and chavs.

ooooh, West Ham in turmoil again. Wouldn't surprise me if they struggle in the lower reaches.

I took that bet last season. I was still in with a shout right up until the last few weeks too. 16/1 it was then. How things change. For the better.
