Leeds are to find out if they will have the 15 point deduction overturned at 17:00 hrs today.

Not really arsed either way but it was a little harsh bearing in mind that it was becuase of the administrators that Leeds fell foul of Football League regulations.

Hope they get some of their points back.

I think it was unfair too, but they should get either all their points back or none-it was either the wrong decision or it wasn't.

I bet they don't though, that would be someone admitting a mistake.

Yes, tough luck. To be fair, it's points they would have got by winning games, they aren't "free" points. Just seems a bit harsh to me to be docked points twice for the same thing.

i wouldnt be surprised if it was reduced to a ten point penalty, therefore not effecting the automatic promotion places. if they are reinstated and propelled up to 2nd place, youd think there would be appeals from second place. why couldnt this have been sorted a lot earlier in the season?

Leeds points appeal unsuccessful
Leeds United have failed in their bid to claim back the 15 points they were deducted by the Football League.

The decision by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators means Leeds will not win automatic qualification from League One, though they are in the play-offs.

An independent three-man arbitration reached its verdict behind closed doors in London, ruling the League had not acted unfairly when docking the points.

The penalty was a punishment for breaking competition insolvency rules.

Zero points returned. Arbitration panel upheld the league's original verdict.

Leeds = EPIC PHAILZ.

Nah, unlucky to Leeds, the fans must be gutted. However I can see them creeping up through the playoffs.

I hope so, another season down there would probably cripple the club.

Quite a shame when you look at their fanbase

I hope they get promoted. I'm glad Forest did too.
