Who does he think he is?
He is 20 and by no means the best thing since sliced bread.
100k a week ?
That is over 5 times my annual combined pensions that I earned trying to help kids who were a million times better people than him.
Mind I blame the daft buggers who pay that sort of money, not just at Liverpool but all the clubs. If they all said no then there would not be the money. They could take the sky money build better facilities and reduce entry prices.

way of the world mate.
id have to sell a kidney, and thats taken a bit of stick tbf..
He said its not about the money, its about being the best he can be...i don't understand the statement as a whole, as to be the best you play and better yourself by hard work..
But its all bollocks, his agent has advised him and other clubs will sniff and ultimately he will get a bigger offer...

i smell a little bit of Daniel sturrage syndrome ....and like city did, liverpool should do the same and not be held to ransom..

hes a brilliant player..but not world class....

Two things here;

1) He's Liverpool's version of Shauny Wright, he'll be at Reading in 4 seasons.
2) I think before we city-folk start slinging mud we need to make sure our backyard is clean. and it's not. We have a lengthy history of paying extortionate money for shit players. Samaras, W Bridge, Danny Mills (for about 7 seasons most of which he didn't play. Cunt.), Robinho, Lescott, I could go on...

Lescott tried hard
But Danny Mills was our best ever player I know this because all the time he says so

Totally agree with point 1.

But you're out of order slagging Lescott off. :(

Lescott did do a job for us, but he wasn't 22m worth. I don't have a pound key.

Lescott's contribution to us winning the league in 2012 justifies his price tag I reckon. Being crowned champions while red nose was still manager was priceless, imagine the decades of "wouldn't have happened if Fergie was in charge" we saved ourselves.

if there's one bit of info that i gleaned from this thread it's that Studs is a dreadful person.

Oh, and that Bert was at the sherry when he made the OP.
