From what i have seen of that Jones, he can from time to time make some good runs forward and set up goals, though he tries that today were gonna get ripped a new one, also apart from Hart... Carson and stockdale, is that the best backup we have???? |

They have a fair few first choice players in there. We seem to have fielded a B team. Is Capello trying to be beaten? I mean Jones in midfield to win the ball and break up the tika-taka. There are actual midfielders who can do that Fabio. If you just wanted somebody to break legs let Barton or Cattermole play in midfield lol. Shit team aside what really fucking pisses me off is Fabios attitude to left midfield/wing why the fuck does he pidgeon players into that position when we have the likes of Johnson and Young? |

Disagree James. He's good when you haven't got the ball but is incapeable of finding a team mate unless it's a 3 ft sideways pass. He's one of those players people praise to show how deeply they understand football. Honestly his passing was appalling today, but I knew before the first half was over he'd be getting MOTM. Lescott played much better. I know, continuously getting out of untenable positions w/ accurate passes that maintain possession should be criticized. Parker is one of those players people criticize to show how deeply they understand football. edit: I agree about Lescott. He played great today. Definite man of the match for me. |
