Serious question - why can't they just have the ACN when we have the Euros? Not just from our point of view, cutting it down to once every 4 years might give African teams a better chance of having a stab at the World Cup.

I think it may hinder selling the TV rights and advertising which is the main income for African football.
If it was up against the Euros it would suffer I expect.

they're holding it next year as well so they can move it to odd years, so the one after will be 2015 and so on
