There is not one decent English manager who is capable of managing England.

Read a surprisingly coherent and interesting interview by Jamie Carragher saying every England manager from now on should be English. The team doctor should be the best English doctor, the boot man should be the best English boot man etc. A national team made up of people from England. I reckon that's where a lot of the apathy towards the national team comes from. It is for me anyway. I fucking hate Capello and the fact that the manager of England still hasn't got a decent grasp of English, not to mention the fact that he's still being paid millions of pounds a year despite having failed miserably in every tournament we've competed in since he's been in charge.

the last managers that were english were FUCKING DIABOLICAL. that's why we got foreigners in.

oh, and i hope redtwat does get the job next, because he'll do abyssmally with the bunch of feckless fucking wankers that pull on the england shirt, destroy his reputation/get exposed as the fucking chancer he is and thus destroy his career. :8ball:

And how have we performed under Capello? I'd rather massively underachieve under an English manager. Give Pearce the job and let him stick David James up front and crash and burn rather than let some dull negative Italian do it. Importing someone from the continent to come in and do shit smacks of desperation and compounds the failure.

I seriously don't get what Capello is doing with Jones at RB. Play him at CB where he'll end up anyway and Richards at RB and you've got two of the defensive positions sorted for the next 10 years.

Hart, Jones, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Parker, Barry, Young, Walcott, Rooney, Bent

Not one City player on the bench either.

Just checking on other international teams with City interest, De Jong on the bench for Holland, also Van Der Vaart at CB.

Kolarocket Playing for Serbia, also Dzekos playing for Bosnia, currently 0-0

Dzekos just scored!!!!!!!
