Yeah, but the World Cup isn't a lot of hassle because everything is already built. Not like the Olympics, where we need to build a new dressage stadium that will never be used again.

Although nice to see the Birmingham derby doing their best yet again to advertise the merits of English football to the world.

The hooliganism problem in Russia is about a billion times worse than that shite last night at St Andrews but that obviously had no bearing on the decision.

According to Mark Saggers on talksport earlier, he had been told that Sepp Blatter told FIFA voting members to take into consideration recent press reports/investigations before voting.

But....

Both are rich as fuck and have oil and natural gas a plenty. Go figure.

exactly. We'll never get a tournament as long as c*nts like Bladder and Platini are in charge. These 2 fucktards can't stand the English.

yep, heard saggers say this..boy he was pissed off...

Just got in from work, and im not surprised, but am quite angry.
I always try to do the right thing in life, even though im a chunt at times.
But this was wholly unfair..
And we knew it and there was nowt we could do..

Just pump all the money into grass roots footie/academys like spain did, and use their blue print to develop the next gen, and beat them on the pitch..

Or have uncle sepp assassinated...

By then our midfield will include. AJ, Wilshere, Henderson and possibly Milner. As they continue to develop I think we will definitely see better team performances from England in the next few years when the wasters i.e. Terry, Ferdinand and Lampard get out after living off club performances against sub-standard teams.

Milner will be 32, AJ 31 in 2018. I can't see either of them being too involved tbf.

Hitler would have got these World Cup tournaments running on time and no mistake and that Sebb Blatter would be back up in the mountains counting out more Nazi gold with Platini bent over a chaise longue.

Bloody woofters the lot of 'em. How did Europe go so wrong?

Qatar has temperatures of 45 - 50°C in June/July. How the fuck are they going to play afternoon matches in that?

Apparently they're building solar powered stadium cooling systems, so it'll be like a giant air con indoor arena.

Its going to cost an utter fortune but its not a problem... Some of the tekkers might not even be available yet but it'll be viable by 2022 right?!

looking forward to fans dropping dead of heatstroke when they are lulled into a false sense of security by the cool stadiums

I'm loving this pic - greedy Russian oligarch grabbing the world cup off Blatter who couldn't look more like he's handing it over after being given a sneeky bung if he tried
