FIFA should just come out and say " In Future, if you have hosted a World Cup previously, don't bother bidding for another one ".

That way, countries will not waste time, effort & money preparing a bid only for them to be disappointed when they don't get it.

Clearly, FIFA and Sepp Blatter want the World Cup to go to countries who have not had it before.

By the time every country has had a go, we'll be dead, so it won't matter then.

I guarantee they wouldn't have done that if it was Brown. I hope there is a backlash.

The only role the BBC play in this is as a convenient scapegoat for FIFA/anyone to blame our bid failing on, because it's obvious this is more to do with scads and scads of oil money than merit.
