Reproducing some of the much vaunted club from that has earned him the call up.

This is a bit like watching City.

Tell me; what is the game plan here?

(apart from Carroll nod it down)

I'm genuinely interested to know.

Just had £20 on England at 10/1 on Betfair, they're bound to improve second half.

To say Henderson has been quiet on his debut is the kind way of putting it. Can't remember seeing him on the ball once.

Excellent comments by Ginola on Five Live. Saying English players are intrinsically crap. If they can't do it at 21 they never will. If we start again now and mean it we might get a few decent players in 10 or 12 years time. If we don't, we're screwed. Agree.

I blame David Beckham. He made an almost pornstar-esque career from delivering Hollywood passes while being slow and having no guile. Fast forward 12 years all we've got is a load of players hoofing the ball without DBs dead balk skills.

Joe Hart, Joleon Lescott, Micah Richards, Gareth Barry, Adam Johnson and James Milner do.

LOL @ England.

No wonder Lewis Holtby chose to play for the country of his birth, rather than that of his father.
Deutschland!!! Deutschland!!!

Italian managers seem to be conspiring to kill my love of the game.

Press are pissing me off though. I think they are being unfair on Caprllo for once. He played a host of kids, as demanded by the press, got beat and then slated for it. If he had picked a more experienced side and we had won then they would have said it was meaningless and we should have played the kids! I just think they are going way over the top on this one.

I don't believe Capello should be the manager but am at a loss to come up with anybody else who could replace him who would actually take the job.

I reckon Redknapp would take it if offered.
