If we had lost the war we would not have been playing footy tonight

That's bollocks. We'd of played and we'd probably have been better dressed.

Even the North Koreans play in the World Cup and they might as well be martians.

No one beat the North Koreans in a war though.

Before you argue it is still just a truce.

My point is football is a universally loved game, even the Nazis liked it. I think it's quite a wild assertion that we wouldn't be playing football. Hell we let the Welsh and Irish play football and we subjugated those nations as provinces of our empire yonks ago.

ok... thanks for all the fairness, lads, and i will keep up this good spirit... maybe if the goal was given, it would have taken another turn, but actually i think from the way the english team played, the never really had a chance beating germany yesterday. So all that i can say is: Good luck to your EC qualifying campaign, and in the end, [SIZE="5"]it's[color="Cyan"] city[/color] that counts![/SIZE]
