That's bollocks. We'd of played and we'd probably have been better dressed.

Even the North Koreans play in the World Cup and they might as well be martians.

No one beat the North Koreans in a war though.

Before you argue it is still just a truce.

My point is football is a universally loved game, even the Nazis liked it. I think it's quite a wild assertion that we wouldn't be playing football. Hell we let the Welsh and Irish play football and we subjugated those nations as provinces of our empire yonks ago.

Probably, with hindsight, would have been better to disabuse them of that notion many years ago.

Be less of a smouldering cauldron of rage and bitterness. It's very unbecoming.

Yes you would. And you might have been playing well organised footy instead of kick and hope.

Should pick yeam now for next world cup and play them through Euros

I suggest

Hart

Johnson G
Dawson
Rodwell
Gibbs

Huddlestone
Milner

Lennon/Walcott
Wilshire
Johnson A

Rooney.

All will be under 30 in 2014 average age 26

others may emerg in the meantime but that seems to me to be a good basis to work from.

Waste of time, he'll only knacker himself playing with an injury for his first love Manchester Utd, trying to win a medal he has already won. #fail #fatfuck

Rodwell isn't a centre back, Walcott's gone from bad to worse, Huddlestone's over-rated and Lennon bottles it for England.

It's not turning on our own, why give a shirt to a fat bloated corporate pie face when we could give it to some young turk* with something to prove?!

ok... thanks for all the fairness, lads, and i will keep up this good spirit... maybe if the goal was given, it would have taken another turn, but actually i think from the way the english team played, the never really had a chance beating germany yesterday.

So all that i can say is: Good luck to your EC qualifying campaign, and in the end, it's city that counts!
