Have heard rumours.

Anyone know if it's true?

Not heard anything, but my guess that the BBC games maybe shown on their website.

Hopefully so.

Am trying to figure a way so I can watch games at work.

The matches will also be shown on the telly.

You'll be able to see the games in the pub as well.

BBC television and Radio 5 Live coverage begins with the opening-day match between France and Uruguay at 7.30pm on 11 June.

The first England match on the BBC will be the final Group C fixture, against Slovenia on 23 June at 1500 BST. This will be followed by England's last-16 and quarter-final matches, should they progress to the knockout stages. Both the BBC and ITV, with whom the BBC is sharing television coverage, will show the final and any semi-final featuring England.

All BBC matches will be available to watch live online in high quality video, while ITV will also show their matches at itv.com/sport. Video highlights of non-BBC broadcast matches will be available on this website. (Note: audio and video available to UK users only).

Every single match will be covered by the Radio 5 live and the BBC Sport website's live text commentators.

Full replays of all BBC games will be available on BBC iPlayer for seven days after the game. In addition, the BBC HD Channel will show extensive coverage of the 2010 World Cup

In Ireland we just stop working when the matches are on. Screens are put up in the canteens or we get the afternoon off to go to the pub to watch them.

The idea that you would be expected to work during WC games is wrong.
