I'll be supporting Mexico.

And I hope France bomb out of the WC without winning a game and failing to score a goal - just like they did in Japan/ South Korea.

besides, you still would have lost on aggregate wothout that goal. People seem to foget that amongst their vitriol. Henry is a dirty cheat though

This was the score of the first leg in Dublin.

Rep of Ireland 0-1 France

After 90 minutes in the second leg this was the score:

France 0-1 Rep of Ireland (agg 1-1)

After Henry cheated in extra time, with the collusion of the ref, linesman, Blatter and Platini, this was the score.

France 1-1 Rep of Ireland (agg 2-1)

We were swindled out of a WC place in 1982 and were swindled again in 2010.

Corrupt cheating bastards.

What makes you think that? And if you get to the final will you win?

previously, i feel that the management team were only capable of taking us so far, and no further

capello has that extra edge, that little bit extra that turns a top 8 team to a top 4 team.

once you get to the semi's it's pretty much pot luck but i bet capello either has or is putting together dossiers on every possible permeatation on who our second round, quarter and semi final opponents could be

Of course once a team gets to the knock out stages anything can happen. Cappello is good enough to get the max out of the players.

Australia just undeservedly won 2 -1 over New Zealand in a dire display of clueless football and a 4th min extra time winner. CRAP.

Ryan Babel is set for scans on a training injury which could threaten his World Cup dream, according to reports.

The 23-year-old was taken to hospital in Austria last night after damaging his hamstring at Holland's pre-World Cup training camp.

If the problem proves serious, it could be the second time Babel has missed out on a major tournament due to injury.

In 2008 he broke his ankle just weeks before the European Championships in Austria and Switzerland.

Last night Babel told fans of his Twitter page: "Disappointing day of course. But hey, don't worry. I have confidence that it will be ok."

Holland's opening Group E game is against Denmark in Johannesburg on June 14.
