How many times will Silva be called Villa tonight then????

I'm going about 8, already happened once on TS earlier.

Spain Casillas, Arbeloa, Pique, Ramos, Alba, Busquets, Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Iniesta, Silva, Cesc Fabregas

Italy Buffon; Abate, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Pirlo, Marchisio, De Rossi; Montolivo, Cassano, Balotelli.

Oh Mr. David. If Spain win by 1 I will be happy for you, just know, Gobby hates most of your team mates and will not be celebrating a Spanish victory, he will be celebrating a City victory.

So for someone who doesn't gamble. Before the euros i got me cousin to do a bet for Torres as top scorer, seeming he was given the Golden boot does me cousin get his winnings?

He'll get 1/6 of it.

My thoughts from last night's game. Were Spain better? Yes. Did italy deserve that scoreline? No.
Prandelli really made a mess of it using his 3 subs with half an hour to go. That is a huge risk and it backfired - OK who can predict an injury like that, but things happen and italy were out of options. the game was over from then on, but Spain in total control just kept on beating Italy's 10 men. Hardly fair, as some italian players also needed replacing.

Best international team ever? Still a matter of debate. been so many over the years and training and tactics change.
Currently the best in Europe, but no overwhelmingly so, as the Portugese could have possibly beaten them.

Totally agree Frank. Once Italy went down to ten men I didn't want Spain to score any more

Loved how the commentary team made a big deal of Balo leaving the pitch at the end. Maybe he just really needed a poo?

My latest favourite Alan Shearer moment; right at the last knockings last night Linaker asks the pundits who's been player of the tournament, Shearer says "Pirlo", Hansen says in a really smug / triumphant way "Iniesta", Shearer shouts at him "you haven't mentioned him until tonight!", Hansen looks pissed off, credits roll.
