Wouldn't take Lampard or Gerrard as you just know they'd miss a penalty.I'd take super Darius Vassell instead of Heskey and instead of crouch i'd take Sheringham. I'd have Cech in goal seeming he's having a free Summer and modric up front for the same reason.

No way will he take Lennon, SWP and Beckham. No way whatsoever. Walcott's more likely as he can play striker in a pinch as well.

I like this, but I'd probably swap woodgate and rio, and there's bound to be better in England than Milner. I like him, good decent player, but, if he can play for England it really doesn't say much for you's as a team

Milner is very good and incredibly versatile. I'd say he's odds on to be in the team.

James, Robinson, Green

Terry, Ferdinand, Upson, Lescott, Cole, Johnson, Cahill, Bridge

Barry, Gerrard, Lampard, Hargreaves (if fit), Cole, Lennon, Wright-Phillips, Milner

Rooney, Crouch, Defoe, Heskey

Players in bold, I'd say are odds on to be in the squad.

This would near enough be what I would pick. Although instead of Agbonglahor I would take either Carlton Cole, Heskey or Crouch

People that aren't picking Beckham are mongs

International week is paste. No vested interest, in fact best I can hope for is there are no City players involved and if they are that they come away without injury.

Swap Beckham for Lennon, Crouch for Heskey and possible Cole for Barry (moving Gerrard to left wing) - and that'll be just about the first team methinks.

Beckham - if he gets in the squad - is not a starter. We need someone on the pitch with pace, and right wingers with pace we have in abundance - Beckham is not one of those.
