Every time I watch Cleverley and Oxlade-Chamberlain play I'm impressed with how hard they manage to make the game look. They're both average at best. They get away with far too much because they're young and English. They might be good in a few years time but at the moment they shouldn't get anywhere near a competitive international match against a country with a population greater than 50,000.

Agreed but i also agree with Hodgson when he complains about the lack of opportunity for English players in the Premier league.

Spain won 1-0

Poor tonight from England and Montenegro hit 6 in our group tonight.

I just don't get what it is with England, thought Chamberlian was poor tonight, was a good strike by the Ukrainean fella tonight. San Marino next without the Captain.

Gonna watch Uruguay V Ecuador kicks off in 10 minutes, Old Boy Caicedo playing as is Ramirez for Uruguay.

One defender decided to hack down the other one, nothing to do with Dzeko really. Tidy finish but nothing out of the ordinary.

OOOHHHHHHHHHHH

Robin van Persie was forced off at half-time of Netherlands' match against Hungary after taking a knee to the thigh from Juhasz, who "kicked at everything that moved except the ball", I'm told, twice in the first half. The extent of the injury is not yet known.

1-0 Ecuador, Caicedo from the spot after winning the penalty.

Suarez just put Valencia on his arse, Rapid start looks like it could be a cracker.

Benitez just steamrolled clean through for Ecuador and Uruguays Keeper clearly brought him down yet Benitez got booked for diving, never in a month of Sundays.

1-1 Cavani. Ecuadors defence a shambles.

Uruguay really should be down to 10 though

Well shit, with 2 mins to go the stream went to the Paraguay game, missed Valencia getting sent off. Brilliant game with the keepers keeping it at 1-1 but Uruguays keeper should have never been on the pitch the last 20 mins or so.

You seriously watched a game because a player who barely even played for us was involved? Wow

I watched it because it was a Football match, totally forgot he played for them till i seen him in the line ups. I was mainly looking at Ramirez, Southamptons new boy.

Oh and Argentina drew 1-1 with Peru
