Robinho returns to a fine and warning from Hughes

Article history
Robinho returned for training with Manchester City yesterday with a warning from Mark Hughes after walking out on the club's Tenerife training camp and returning home to Brazil.
The Brazilian appeared to be all smiles despite being hit by a fine of two weeks' wages – £320,000 – for a breach of discipline as the Eastlands club prepared for tomorrow's Premier League meeting with Newcastle United.
Robinho held clear-the-air talks with manager Hughes, whose disciplining of the club's £32m record signing has been backed by the club's owner Sheikh Mansour. Hughes said he would not treat any player differently because of their transfer fee or reputation and denied reports that the Brazil international wanted to leave Eastlands. "He knows how I feel," said the City manager. "I just expect certain standards from my best guys, but I have no problems with good footballers. The ones who are a problem are those who have a higher opinion of their ability than is apparent and a higher opinion of their worth to the team."
Hughes also denied that his 12-goal leading scorer was seeking reassurances about City's ambitions. "People talk about making assurances to Robinho but any reassurances would just be repetition. He knows how I feel," said the Welshman.
edit, trimmed the shit about ladyboy
Same report was in The Sun, but their headline was "City are a laughing stock"
