Game over innit. Typical English result against a shit opposition. Run the ball in three times and then sit back because we invented football and we're good at it.
(We're awful recently tbh)
On the other hand MCFC_Boss, great result for Canada today! 2-3 defeat against Brazil... How was the game???

We did so well, but we lost.

Still, I reckon it shows Canadian football's on the up. Were Brazil just shit or did you play really well?

He didn't do that much. All he did is that taking the goal kicks :D

Didn't have much to do but got a bit overexcited and flapped at a couple that he would normally have dealt with comfortably. Not an easy game to make your debut in as he had little to do. As a goalkeeper myself many years ago I know that what you really want is to be busy. You secretly will the opposition to attack, confident that you're good enough to stop everything.

I watched the game and thought Joe Hart flapped a bit and looked uncomfortable when called into action. I'm glad he wasn't playing against stronger players. Hopefully he did enough in training to get himself a recall to the squad as he did himself no favours in the game.

Agreed, he looked proper dodgy at crosses and corners. He started trying to punch everything towards the end of the season to much the same effect as last night.

I wasn't that impressed with England. Even against a pub team like Trinidad we still couldn't keep posession. We never look comfortable with the ball, it's always flirting around like a hot spud. Until we manage to develop players that can control a football, be comfortable with it, and pick a pass out, then we'll never be any good.

I noticed Elano came on for the second half. How'd he play?

I guess it depends if we work it into the price or not if we sell either of them. I cant see us selling either, any new manager would want both of them!!
