What is everyone's thoughts having a Team GB? Personally can't see why you wouldn't but there may need to be some rules laid down.

For instance, my understanding is the Red Lions rugby union team (stay with me on this one) must have a certain amount of home country players and as a result many people feel the Red Lions could be better if they were just English playing.

I think each nations fa is worried about losing their special privileges at fifa as permanent members on the board. What might work is if the home nations play a mini tournament for the right to represent GB.

I think it would be a waste of time. A nothing event.

Interesting, there are a handfull of people who think the largest sporting event in the world is a reasonable deal going on?

The largest sporting event is the World Cup, followed by the Champions League and then Premier league.

People running and jumping quicker than each other is not.

If Olympic football meant anything, there would be an interest in it an England would be involved (and no doubt flop).
