So there are 53 teams currently in 9 groups playing each other twice in the group over seven different weeks and then by a series of winners runners up and playoffs reducing to 24, which will then be in presumably 6 groups of 4, then a last 16 knockout eventually producing a winner after these games have been played at various locations throughout Europe with the final in the Stade de France, presumably, Platini being in charge of it all.
Presumably in the midst of this there will be qualifiers for the 2018 world cup and there will be, for a lot of players, Champions League and Europa league games. To say nothing of the South American and African cups etc.
And the Premier leagues and domestic cups.
The airlines are going to be the winners.

And what happens if in the middle of all this some dodgey East European country like Ukraine decides to have a revolution.

Bundesliga threatening to boycott this little event:

Not happy about the overblown tournament, nor having to play the likes of Gibraltar.

It does seem a bit pointless to be honest, maybe like the CL they should have a pre stage for the likes of them San Marino, Faroes and Northern Ireland :D

They're going to play in Portugal. And probably throw monkeys at the Spanish on the way through.

Top of the World again
Beat the Swiss away so now we are unbeatable again.
Welbeck is the greatest English forward since Peter Crouch and will single handed lay destroy City on Saturday.

Bollocks,

I read in the newspaper that the Scouse Sterling 19 years old could not start against Estonia yesterday because he was too tired after playing 45 mins against the mighty San Marino on Thursday. He is 19 for gods sake!!
When I was 19 and a PE student I played all day drank and shagged at night(if I was lucky) and then played the next day.
What arethesefootbalers coming to?
