I hope AJ stakes a decent claim tonight.

It looks like only one person will be going to South Africa between Shauny and AJ, and obviously since he has signed AJ has deserved it more.

Milner certainly didn't look worth 20 odd million. Carrick has been awful this season, I'm glad he plays for the rags.

Leighton Baines is awful. I don't think he completed one pass, he is too short and he got tortured all night. Carrick is shit as we know and with Barry we just look so much more controlled and composed. I don't think SWP has a chance sadly but I think AJ will be on that plane hopefully alongside Barry.

I thought he was good tbh, specially 2nd half.

Carrick can't get a game for Utd. He's shit, it's a travesty if he's on the plane.

Yes they were, besides the one that curled and hit the post their finish was straight down the keepers throat every time. They could easily have won that. Crouch was offside and a handball. Johnson's finish was excellent. Carrick was shit, Milner was ordinary, Johnson looked good and deserved more than 10 minutes. Rooney was kept well quiet.

You En-ger-land fans, how does it feel to be singing 'Rooney, Rooney'? FUCK THAT.

Gonna have to disagree with you there Danny. They marked him out of the game, but when you do that it leaves lots of room for others, defenders etc.

I thought that was agreeing with me? He was quiet, as they put 5 guys on him any time he came near the ball, thus freeing up others.

Oh and special mention to Baines, who was well out of his depth.
