torres is utterly broken.

He has no confidence cos he is playing at a side that hasn't played to his strengths. If you think Torres is finished as a player you are way off the mark. He has tons of goals to come, just probably not at chelsea.

Theres some messed up stuff going on at Chelsea. He [Torres] looks every inch the striker, he just has a confidence issue. The team around him is in shambles, and isn't suited to him in the slightest. He needs to leave Chelsea and return to Spain. Villas Boas is a muppet if Porto tonight were anything to go by (his old team), cheating, diving idiots. Abramovich signed Torres when he shouldn't have, the guy knows nothing about football and just assumed splashing the cash would work. Chelsea are heading to the scrap heap I think.

Having said this, I'm not sure how much longer Torres should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Incredible. That is more than just a loss of form or not having the right team around him. A striker as good as he was five years ago would be scoring a few, regardless.

His poor form goes way back as well, pre-world cup. He might rediscover some form if he leaves Chelsea but he's destined to be remembered as the £50m flop, which is a shame, because he was so fucking good to watch.

Something behind the scenes I expect. There will be something we don't know about.
